Key Reasons for Speculative Buy

Strategic Vision: Critical Metals Corp. (NASDAQ: CRML) has positioned itself as a pivotal supplier of critical rare earth elements (REEs) and lithium to Western markets. Its primary ambition is to reduce global reliance on China, which currently controls approximately 97% of rare earth supply. The company’s dual focus on the Greenland-based Tanbreez Rare Earth Project and the Wolfsberg Lithium Project in Austria underscores its strategy to build a secure and sustainable supply chain for the defense and clean energy sectors in the United States and Europe.

Tanbreez Project: Scale and Economics: The Tanbreez Project in Greenland is recognized as one of the world’s largest rare earth deposits, with an exploitation license valid until 2050. Preliminary Economic Assessment (PEA) findings forecast a Net Present Value (NPV) of approximately USD 3 billion (before tax), an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 180%, and cumulative revenues of around USD 26.8 billion over a 25+ year mine life. The projected EBITDA stands at USD 18.5 billion, with a payback period of less than three years, highlighting its compelling economic potential.

Strategic Importance of Tanbreez: The project’s strategic location in Southern Greenland provides direct year-round shipping routes to North American and European markets. Given its 4.7 billion metric tonnes of mineralized resource, including zirconium, niobium, tantalum, hafnium, gallium, and both light and heavy REEs, Tanbreez is well positioned to supply critical inputs for advanced defense technologies such as missiles, radars, and fighter jets, alongside renewable energy applications.

Sustainability and Processing Advantage: Tanbreez is designed as a sustainable operation, with mining conducted via open-pit methods and ore processing reliant on dry magnetic separation, avoiding the use of chemicals. This environmentally responsible approach, supported by hydroelectric energy sources, enhances the project’s attractiveness for governments and industries increasingly focused on sustainable supply chains.

Upside Potential through Exploration: Recent drilling programs at Tanbreez have yielded highly promising results, including the discovery of gallium mineralization with concentrations reaching 147 ppm. This discovery is significant, particularly in light of China’s December 2024 ban on exports of gallium and other critical minerals to the United States. Such findings further strengthen Tanbreez’s role as a vital Western alternative in critical mineral supply.

Wolfsberg Lithium Project: Complementing the Tanbreez development, the Wolfsberg Lithium Project in Austria is expected to become Europe’s first lithium concentrate producer by 2027/2028. With strong infrastructure access and support from the European Battery Alliance, Wolfsberg is strategically located within Europe’s growing EV and battery ecosystem. A long-term offtake agreement with BMW, including a USD 15 million prepayment, provides further commercial validation of the project.

Partnerships and Leadership: CRML has also secured a strategic joint venture with Obeikan Group in Saudi Arabia to build and operate a lithium hydroxide processing facility, fully funded through the JV. Together with a management team experienced in mining development and capital markets, the company has built a strong foundation to advance its projects and capture value in the rapidly expanding critical metals market.

Considering recent key business, financial updates, current trading levels, and key business risks, a ‘Speculative Buy’ recommendation has been given on Critical Metals Corp (NASDAQ: CRML) at the current market price of USD 6.78, as on Sep 25, 2025 at 7:05 am PDT.
